Frozen Treats
This is the time to get creative. The treat combinations you can make using a cupcake tin are endless and inexpensive. Pick up a cupcake tin at your local thrift or dollar store. Ice cube trays and silicone molds can also be used. You just need something to freeze the treats in. On hot summer days, our rescue animals love these. We usually use water or vegetable juice as the base, and then we add mixed vegetables, fruits, and treats. Once complete, throw it in the freezer overnight. Applesauce, canned pumpkin, dairy-free yogurt, or baby food are also fun foods to add. Once frozen, pop them out of the mold and serve.
