Lick Mats

Every pet owner NEEDS a lick mat. These have been a farm favorite. Due to their size, you can use them just about anywhere and they are easy to store. They are made with food-grade silicone. Many lick mats come with a sticky side so they can stick to walls, floors, the bottom of a crate, etc. Not only does it provide mental stimulation, but it also helps animals with their anxiety by keeping them focused on something fun and yummy. Our pigs, cats, and dogs are obsessed! Plus, there are a million different ways you can create a delicious treat.

On days that we are in a rush and need to run out the door, we throw some peanut butter on and give them to the animals to play with while we are gone. When we have more time to prepare, we like to spread soy yogurt, canned pumpkin, and applesauce on the mat and throw it in the freezer overnight. In the morning, the animals get a treat that lasts longer. When we have leftovers such as oatmeal, mashed potatoes, or smoothies, we throw them on the lick mat too.
